• Install Certainteed WinterGuard Ice & Water Shield or GAF Weatherwatch in valleys, around chimneys, skylights, and along eves.
• Cover deck surface with Certainteed roofers select or GAF Shingle-Mate.
• Install aluminum drip edge, on gables, and gutter apron on eaves
• Install new roof vents
• Check ventilation along eaves
• Replacement of soil pipe flashings
• Re-flash chimney if needed, which includes new aluminum or copper step flashing and counter flashing
• Valleys will be closed cut method per manufacturer's specifications - with option for metal valley
• Job site cleaned daily and all debris hauled away and magnetic sweep of yard at completion
• Shingles will be nailed not stapled
• Install 25-year 3-tab shingles with the option to upgrade to laminate dimensional shingles, wood shake or metal standing seam.
• 10-year warranty on workmanship
• Remove existing siding.
• Secure any loose boards.
• Apply sealant around windows, doors, & other areas as necessary to protect home from moisture penetration.
• Use furring strips as needed.
• Cover exterior walls with 1/4" foam backer ( Fan Fold ).
• Install drip cap above windows & doors, undersill below these areas & wherever else needed.
• Use J channel where needed doors, windows etc.
• Use F channel where needed eaves, gables etc.
• Install starter strip.
• Install corner pieces inside, outside.
• Use J blocks where there are protrusions through siding.
• Job site will be cleaned daily, all debris hauled away at completion of work & Magnetic sweep of yard.
• Install Shutters Louvered Panel if applicable.
• Install Vinyl Gable Vents
• Remove existing soffit, facia & install aluminum or vinyl soffit and facia.
• Cover exterior window & door sills with aluminum.
• Install Certainteed .042 Main Street Double 4" vinyl siding.
